Abstract
This session looks at how Moodle is used to facilitate and support an interdisciplinary model of teaching and learning at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong (CDNIS). In it's fourth year of implementation, the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program Technology program at CDNIS has been through multiple phases of progression.
Throughout the 4 years of the MYP Technology program (grades 7-10), students are exposed to both contrived and authentic challenges presented through a rich cross curricular teaching and learning model allowing them to build connections between content taught through different disciplines.
We will look at actual units of work and how the use of Moodle facilitates diagnostic, formative and summative feedback processes as well as the 'human' element of running such a program.
